Terms & Conditions for AB Electricians (London) LTD

1. Definitions:
- The Company: Refers to AB Electricians (London) LTD.
- The Customer: Denotes the individual or organization engaging the services of the Company.
- The Operative/Engineer: Represents the appointed representative of the Company executing the works.
2. Scope & Compliance:
- The Company reserves the right to refuse or decline work at its discretion.
- All electrical installation works will adhere to the latest UK regulations and standards.
3. Service Provisions:
- Power Disruptions: Some disruption of the power supply is inevitable during electrical works. The Customer should be prepared for temporary power losses.
- Positioning: Unless specified, the positioning of fittings, cables, and other installation components will be determined by the Operative.
4. Charges & Payments:
- The total charge to the Customer will include the cost of materials and labor. All charges are subject to VAT and any other applicable fees.
- Non-Stock Items: Collection of non-stock items is chargeable. Time spent obtaining these items will be kept to a minimum.
- Payment Methods: Invoices are due immediately upon completion. Various payment methods, including card payments and BACS transfers, are accepted.
5. Access & Materials:
- If the Operative cannot access the site due to hindrances, the Customer will be charged for the time spent awaiting access.
- Customer-Supplied Materials: If the Customer provides materials that are faulty or missing, standard charges will apply for the time spent on-site.
6. Quotations & Existing Installations:
- Fixed price quotations are binding unless circumstances change. Quotations requiring site visits may incur charges.
- Costs assume existing installations are up to standard. Any required upgrades will incur additional charges.
7. Privacy & Liability:
- The Company does not store credit card details nor share customer details with third parties.
- The Company is not liable for delays or consequences of delays if they are beyond its reasonable control.
8. Guarantee & Refunds:
- Labour is guaranteed against faulty workmanship for 6 months from completion. This does not cover materials or parts not supplied by the Company.
- The Company does not offer refunds on completed works.
9. Amendments & Jurisdiction:
- These terms & conditions may be updated or modified only in writing by an authorized representative of the Company.
- These terms & conditions are governed by UK law.
